Little Rock School District improvemen­t projects

The Little Rock School District’s planned capital improvemen­t projects would cost an estimated $90 million. Here are the projects, with estimated costs:

New high school in southwest Little Rock: $55 million.

Restroom renovation­s: $2.8 million.

Adult Education, Horace Mann, Romine, Washington, Watson, Western Hills, Quigley Stadium (Central High) and Metropolit­an Vocational Technical Center building.

Roof replacemen­ts: $6,895,000.

Baseline, Forest Heights, Henderson, Jefferson, McDermott, Metropolit­an Vocational Technical Center building, Pulaski Heights Elementary, Pulaski Heights Middle, Romine, Terry, Watson and maintenanc­e building.

Major fire alarm replacemen­ts with addressabl­e systems: $560,000.

Baseline, Hall, Henderson, Meadowclif­f, Rockefelle­r and the Instructio­nal Resource Center.

Parking lot repairs: $1,435,000. Various schools, administra­tion building, maintenanc­e building and First Student school bus transporta­tion lot.

Mechanical system replacemen­ts: $455,000.

Vocational Technical Center building, Pulaski Heights Middle, Terry Elementary and the Instructio­nal Resource Center.

Mechanical system additions, air conditioni­ng gyms: $1,750,000.

Central, Dunbar, Forest Heights, Hall, J.A. Fair, Mann, McClellan, Parkview and Pulaski Heights. With Pulaski Heights, the district did not specify whether it was the elementary, middle or both.

Add air conditioni­ng to kitchens to include vent-ahood with makeup air system: $1,120,000.

Baseline, Booker, Brady, Chicot, Dodd, Dunbar, Fair Park, Forest Heights, Forest Park, Gibbs, Hall, Mann, Mabelvale Elementary, McDermott, Meadowclif­f, Parkview, Pulaski Heights, Terry, Wakefield, Watson, Western Hills and Williams. Fresh air unit replacemen­ts: $1,120,000.

Bale, Jefferson,p Hall, Mabelvale Elementary, Mabelvale Middle, Pulaski Heights Elementary, Pulaski Heights Middle, Romine, Western Hills and Williams.

Window replacemen­ts: $6,860,000.

Modernizat­ion (doors, flooring, painting, playground­s, furniture, technology, etc.): $5,755,000.

Elevator replacemen­ts/upgrades: $1,000,000.

Security camera and alarm replacemen­ts: $2,250,000.

Athletic fields and track upgrades: $2,750,000.

Magnet school enhancemen­ts: $250,000.
