Argenta exhibition

“Paints, Pastels, Pencils & Pixels,” works by Little Rock painter Miller B. “Eddie” Smith Jr. and Jacksonvil­le painter and graphic artist Ed Rhodes, go on display with a Third Friday ArtWalk artists’ reception, 5-8 p.m. Friday at the William F. Lily lecture

Pulaski County Master Gardener Susan Rose will give a presentati­on titled “Lilies A to Z,” 9 a.m. Saturday at Mount Holly Cemetery, 1200 Broadway, Little Rock. The talk is part of the Downtown Dames’ monthly (April-October) Mount Holly Garden Series. Take a lawn chair; admission is by suggested donation of $5, which benefits projects at Mount Holly Cemetery and includes refreshmen­ts and door prizes. Ballet benefit

Arkansas Festival Ballet will hold its “Midsummer Night’s Dream” fundraiser, featuring signature cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres and Festival Ballet dancers performing excerpts from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, choreograp­hed by Rebecca Miller Stalcup to music by Felix Mendelssoh­n, 5-7 p.m. Sunday at South on Main, 1304 Main St., Little Rock.

Items available in the “All the World’s a Stage” raffle include a pointe shoe signed by Prima Ballerina Wendy Whelan of the New York City Ballet; a sports package (Dallas Cowboys, Arkansas Travelers and Arkansas Razorbacks tickets); a theater package (tickets to the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Argenta Community Theater and Celebrity Attraction­s); group aerial arts lessons with Arkansas Circus Arts for up to five people; and a character role in the Festival Ballet’s May 2018 production of Beauty and the Beast.
