This five-bedroom, four-and-a-halfbath home, heated and cooled by an energy-efficient geothermal HVAC system, rests on a generous 0.38-acre lot that borders a permanent green space in Maumelle’s Osage Terrace.

Double doors open to the two-story foyer, where a hardwood staircase leads to the home’s upper level. The foyer is finished with deep crown molding and extra trimwork, and the stained-concrete floor continues throughout the main level. On one side of the foyer, the living room is linked to the chandelier-lit formal dining room by a double doorway. On the other side of the foyer, French doors open to the guest bedroom, which has a private bath with a single-sink vanity and a tub/shower combination. The guest suite could also be used as an office or study.

Open to the kitchen and breakfast area, the hearth room centers around a gas-log fireplace that’s finished with a painted mantelpiece and a tile hearth. The fireplace is flanked by built-in bookcases.

The kitchen is fitted with stainedwood cabinetry with roll-outs, an island/ breakfast bar, a built-in wine rack, quartz counters, tile backsplashes, a large pantry and stainless-steel appliances — a double convection oven, a gas cooktop,a microwave and a dishwasher. The workspace has recessed lighting, as well as undercabinet task lighting and pendant fixtures above the island and the double sink. The family dining area, lit by a three-light fixture, is open to the kitchen and hearth room. Just off the breakfast area is a screened porch overlooking the fully fenced backyard.

Upstairs, the luxurious master suite features a large carpeted bedroom that has a double tray ceiling and a separate sitting area with a fireplace and builtin bookcases. The sitting area also has double doors that open to a balcony overlooking the backyard. The tiled bath offers his-and-hers vanities, a private water closet, a jetted tub, an oversized tile and glass shower, and two walk-in closets. There are three additional bedrooms on this level; each has a cork floor and plenty of closet space. Two of the bedrooms share a bath, and the other bedroom has a private bath. This level also includes a large bonus/game room that opens to the balcony.

Other amenities of the home include an upstairs laundry room with a sink and built-ins, a mud room, a powder room, deep crown molding and extra trimwork, a security system, a central vacuum, window treatments, tankless water heaters, a three-car side-entry garage, a storm shelter, a sprinkler system and more.
