–––––❖––––– KRETH WAYNE ELLIS, 37, of Mabelvale passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017. He was born on September 18, 1979 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He is survived by his parents, LaWanna and Stephen Sullivan and Derwin Ellis; four siblings, Christophe­r Monroe, Jordan Ellis, Talia Sullivan and Jaye Coleman; niece and nephews, Channing, Jerry and Bayleigh; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family.

–––––❖––––– WILLIAM CALVIN (DUB) GLOVER JR. died at age 72, Saturday, August 26, 2017. He was born July 2, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dub was preceded in death by his wife Debbie Higgins Glover, father William Calvin Glover, and mother Wilma Latta Glover Smith.

He is survived by his son, Lance Glover and wife Jessie of Rogers; son, Derek Glover of Jacksonvil­le; grandsons, William Calvin Glover III and Charlie Asher Glover of Rogers; sister, Ann Teeter and husband Joe of Little Rock; niece, Kathy Gladden and husband Joel; nephew, Jody Teeter and wife Carolyn; one mother-in-law, Nellie Higgins of Palestine; sister-in-law, Daphne Pike and husband Terry; sister-in-law, Doris Shafer and husband Billy; sister-in-law, Denelda Michaelis

and husband Gary; nephew, T.J. Pike and wife Jill; niece, Tabitha Gibbs and husband Ricky; niece, Candice Franks and husband Burge; nephew, Joe Shafer and wife Allison; niece, Tiffany Michaelis and husband Chucky, and 16 great-nieces and nephews.

He served as a United States Marine and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a retired member of the North Little Rock Police Department. He was most proud of his two sons, Lance and Derek and later his grandsons, William and Charlie.

–––––❖––––– CAROL HANEY, 80, of Little Rock, died August 20, 2017 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. She was born August 31, 1936 in Uniontown, Pa. to loving parents, Arthur and Leona (Short) Schreck.

After graduating from Greensburg High School in 1955, Carol attended Thiel College and Penn State University. She worked for Alcoa in their Pittsburgh and New York offices before becoming a full-time homemaker. Carol enjoyed golf, was president of a ladies golf club and excelled at playing duplicate and bridge. She enjoyed helping others as a Meals on Wheels and Hospice volunteer. Many will remember Carol’s dry wit and love of laughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Betsey Martin (Charles) and one grandchild, Caroline Martin, of Little Rock. Carol also leaves behind her beloved dog, Hank.

Bryan loved playing pool, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycle­s and racing cars. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and past master of Iron Springs Lodge #342.

He is survived by his parents, James and Stella Harton; three children, JoAnn, Brittany and Kayla; five grandchild­ren and a host of family and friends who all love and Miss Bryan dearly.
