Coldwell Banker, animal shelters join forces during national adoption event

Coldwell Banker RPM offices in Pulaski, Saline, Faulkner, Lonoke and Garland counties will join hundreds of Coldwell Banker offices and animal shelters across the country during the company’s Homes for Dogs National Adoption Weekend, Sept. 9 and 10.

The nationwide adoption weekend is part of the “Homes for Dogs Project,” a threeyear campaign launched by Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and www.adoptapet.com, a nonprofit pet-adoption website.

In the event’s first year alone, the organizations helped facilitate more than 20,000 adoptions. This April, Coldwell Banker launched “Somebody to Love,” a national advertising campaign that told the story of a man and a homeless dog who find each other. It was lauded one of the highest ranking ads of all time by Ace Metrix, and was praised by the New York Times as a “commercial to love.”

“Having adopted several dogs myself, I know how beneficial adding pets to your home can add to your family,” said Angelica Rogers, an agent with Coldwell Banker RPM Group’s Midtown Office. “Knowing that in 2015, thousands of dogs were adopted makes my heart happy, and it makes me proud that Coldwell Banker is providing this service for dogs across the nation.”

Coldwell Banker RPM’s central Arkansas branches will each host adoption events on Saturday, Sept. 9, or Sunday Sept. 10, at the following locations and times.
