Providers announced at WRMC Surgery Clinic

BATESVILLE — Michelle Hagen, doctor of nurse practition­er; Jessica Moody, advanced practice registered nurse; and Carla Smith, APRN, have joined the staff and at the White River Medical Center Surgery Clinic, a clinic of White River Health System, located at 501 Virginia Drive, Suite A, in Batesville.

As providers, the new staff members will provide holistic care to ill patients using a collaborat­ive approach proven to improve patient outcomes. They are focused on providing quality care to residents in Batesville and surroundin­g areas.

Hagen received her licensed practical nurse degree from Ozarka College in Melbourne, then completed her Associate of Nursing degree from North Arkansas Community College in Harrison. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, her Master of Nursing Science, and doctor of nurse practition­er from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science in Little Rock.

Moody received her BSN degree from Arkansas State University-Jonesboro. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at South University in Savannah, Georgia.

Smith received her LPN degree from Ozarka College in Melbourne and her ASN from Arkansas State University-Jonesboro,. She received her BSN from the Chamberlai­n College of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri and her Master of Science in Nursing from UAMS. She is certified in adult-gerontolog­y acute care by the Certificat­ion Organizati­on for the American Associatio­n of Critical-Care Nurses.

The WRMC Surgery Clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
