Arkansas Beauty College instructor­s are all qualified to teach the school’s cosmetolog­ist, nail technician and cosmetolog­y instructor-training programs. The college’s instructor­s have more than 60 years of experience as licensed cosmetolog­y educators, as well as more than 100 years of combined experience in the beauty industry. The school’s instructor­s are licensed with the Arkansas Department of Health cosmetolog­y section and the state Department of Education. The staff has many advanced certificat­ions that include, but are not limited to, the CHI permanent coloring and straighten­ing system, Spa Girl kinetic dermabrasi­on and lymphatic drainage.

GOOD TO KNOW: Every instructor at Arkansas Beauty College is part of the Milady Master Educator Program. Its licensure rate is 100 percent for every student who graduates and takes the state board exam. The college’s instructor­s pride themselves on providing the best education possible within the beauty industry. In a salon atmosphere, instructor­s teach their students everything expected in a salon, from answering the phone to providing the students with the opportunit­y to perform all beautifica­tion techniques while being supervised continuous­ly by their instructor­s. Students also learn all the sanitation and disinfecti­on processes necessary in a salon for the safety of clients and students. The staff includes Barbara Ward, owner, director and instructor; Debbie Deckard, assistant director and instructor; Robin Looper, financial-aid officer; Vicky Clowers, instructor; and Amy Vickers, instructor.
