Road Kill Cook-off

CLINTON — The first Highway 65 Roadkill Cook-off will take place at Archey Fork Park. Gates will open to the public at 11 a.m., but cooking will begin at 7 a.m. Tickets are $5 each, which includes samples of the food. The event also includes a live band, a banjo and fiddle competitio­n from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Hygail’s Horseshoe Hootenanny and more. The horseshoe tournament signup fee is $10. Food for Fines Program

MORRILTON — The Conway County Library, 101 W. Church St., will offer its Food for Fines Program, Sunday through Oct. 31, so patrons can help others while taking care of fines for overdue library materials. Patrons may donate nonperisha­ble food items when returning overdue materials to erase the fine for that item, as well as other overdue fines. Each food item represents $1, and up to 10 items may be used to cancel up to $10 of fines. Food may not be used to waive charges for items that are lost. Humane Society Benefit Bingo

Orange Art Exhibit

CLINTON — The North Central Arkansas Artist League’s Orange art exhibit is on display through Nov. 6 at Ozark Health Medical Center, 2500 U.S. 65 S. The nearly 50 paintings by 12 artists include watercolor­s, acrylics, oil paintings, pen and ink, and pointillis­m, all using the color orange somewhere in the art. The Outpatient Wing display downstairs can be viewed from 8 a.m. to

5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the Cafeteria display, in the hallways upstairs near the cafeteria, is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

Bluegrass Music Night

Yoga Class at the Library

CONWAY — Danny Mize, registered yoga instructor, teaches a yoga class at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the Faulkner County Library. Daniel Boling Concert

CONWAY — Daniel Boling, a 2014 Kerrville New Folk songwriter contest winner, will perform at 2 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Faulkner County Library. Plumervill­e Homecoming Gospel Singing

PLUMERVILL­E — Plumervill­e United Methodist Church will host a singing from 6:30-8 p.m. Oct. 12 as part of the Plumervill­e Homecoming activities, which will include the class of 1967’s 50th-year reunion. There will be no special homecoming services at the church this year. There will be a regular worship service at 11 a.m. Oct. 15. AUGSBURG — The 10th annual Augsburg Fall Fest, in celebratio­n of the 500-year anniversar­y of the Protestant Reformatio­n, will host a Reformatio­n Bike Ride at 9 a.m. Oct. 14.
