There are new foods, new rides and an extra day at the State Fair, today-Oct. 22. Admission at the gate is $10, $5 for children and ride bands are $30. Tickets in advance at Walgreens are $7.99, $3.99 for children and $27 for armbands. Fair parking is $10, but free shuttle service is available on weekends from the State Capitol. Gate admission includes general admission to concerts, including headliners Vince Neil, Freddie Jackson, Tracy Lawrence, Ann Wilson of Heart and Coolio, but there are additional costs for premium seating.
