9 BOO!

Just in time for Halloween and opening on Friday the 13th, “Boo! Images of the Macabre,” explores eerie landscapes, creepy creatures, ghostly figures and other “mysterious intersections of reality and imagination,” with a reception, 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Windgate Gallery, Center for Humanities and Arts, at UA-Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock. Ann Prentice Wagner, the Arkansas Arts Center’s drawings curator, will give a gallery talk at 6:30. Barry McVinney, saxophone, and Ron Hall, piano, will provide entertainment. “Boo!” will be on display through Dec. 15, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
