Just in time for Halloween and opening on Friday the 13th, “Boo! Images of the Macabre,” explores eerie landscapes, creepy creatures, ghostly figures and other “mysterious intersections of reality and imagination,” with a reception, 6-8 p.m. Friday in the Windgate Gallery, Center for Humanities and Arts, at UA-Pulaski Technical College in North Little Rock. Ann Prentice Wagner, the Arkansas Arts Center’s drawings curator, will give a gallery talk at 6:30. Barry McVinney, saxophone, and Ron Hall, piano, will provide entertainment. “Boo!” will be on display through Dec. 15, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. The opening reception for “Body/Ecology: Daniella Napolitano and Carmen Alexandria Thompson” will also include a book signing with Brian Sorenson, author of Arkansas Beer: An Intoxicating History, music by John Burnette and beer by Stone’s Throw Brewery.
