The Morrilton Devil Dogs jumped out to a 28-6 halftime lead, then held off a furious Alma rally to their third win of the season. The Airedales cut the deficit to 35-28 before Morrilton kicker Jesus Arias kicked a 22-yard field goal to make the score 38-28. Alma cut the deficit to 38-35 with 5:09 left in the game. The Devil Dogs were able to close out the game by forcing a fourthdown stop, then picked up a first down to run out the clock on the game’s final possession. Morrilton quarterback Jacolby Criswell passed for 154 yards and ran for 207.
