Anniversaries

Sue and Wes Poole of Hot Springs celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family gathering in Hot Springs. The couple were married Oct. 12, 1957. She is the former Suellen Citty and a retired elementary school teacher. He is a retired electrical engineer from International Paper Co. in Pine Bluff. They are the parents of Tony Poole of Little Rock and Gary Poole of Conway. They have four grandchildren.

Sue and Charles Grisham of Maumelle will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Oct. 19, 1947. She is the former Sue Kirby and he retired as a teacher from the Little Rock School District. They are the parents of Rita Casey and Linda Stone, both of Maumelle, and Charlotte Daniels of North Little Rock. The couple have seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Lois and John Dobson of Ash Flat will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Oct. 18, 1957. She is a retired nurse and he retired as district manager from Bungee Corp.

Marsh of Little Rock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a small gathering of family and friends. The couple were married Oct. 21, 1967. The couple are small business owners. They are the parents of Grant Marsh of Vienna, Va., Gregory Marsh of Little Rock and Jason Marsh of Pottsville. The couple have one grandchild.
