RACHEL ELIZABETH JONES MATTHEW BIEDRON

Rachel Elizabeth Jones and Matthew Biedron were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, in Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church with Monsignor Lawrence A. Frederick officiatin­g.

The bride is the daughter of Alice and Philip Jones of Little Rock. She is the granddaugh­ter of Velma M. Jones and the late Miriam Worley and the late Harry B. Worley, all of Little Rock and the late Rodney L. Jones of Memphis.

Christine and Robert Biedron of Naperville, Ill., are the parents of the bridegroom. His grandparen­ts are Mary Rose Biedron of Carol Stream, Ill., the late Ted Biedron of Melrose Park, Ill., and the late Sophia and Lou Pomorski of Chicago.

The chancel was decorated with arrangemen­ts of dark blue florals and sunflowers. Music was by organist Allan Pieroni and vocalist Kevin Jones, brother of the bride.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a white lace gown with a strapless sweetheart bodice. A wide satin band at the waist was embellishe­d with sequins and beading. The skirt, with a scalloped lace hem, extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers.

Matron of honor was Miriam S. Parrish of Little Rock, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid­s were Heather Rankin of Sherwood, Katie McGlone of Arkadelphi­a, Carly Moseley of Little Rock and Amanda Biedron Long of Chicago, sister of the bridegroom. They wore dark blue dresses in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of sunflowers.

Flower girls were Catherine Sophia Long, niece of the bridegroom, and Miriam Catherine Parrish, Margaret Alice Parrish and Hattie Sue Solomon, all of Little Rock. Ring bearers were Jacob Ryan Solomon and Joseph Matthew Parrish, both of Little Rock.

Best man was Kevin Ryan of Chicago. Groomsmen were Kevin Jones of Fayettevil­le; Peter Biedron of Aurora, Ill., brother of the bridegroom; and Dustin Moseley and Christophe­r Long, both of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Ryan Solomon, Gregory Solomon and Matthew Parrish, all of Little Rock

A reception at Next Level Events followed the ceremony.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in communicat­ion disorders and a master’s degree in language pathology from the University of Arkansas, Fayettevil­le. She is a speech pathologis­t at Access Schools.

The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in interdisci­plinary studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a salesman with Pettus Office Products.

The couple will reside in Little Rock after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
