SARAH KAY RECTOR EDWARD WILLIAM BAILEY

Sarah Kay Rector became the bride of Edward William Bailey at 5 p.m Saturday, Oct. 7, at Moss Mountain Farm, Roland.

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Gary Watson and the granddaugh­ter of Marcia and the late Tom Watson and the late Beulah and Jay Wright, all of Benton.

The bridegroom is the son of Patricia Bailey and John Bailey, both of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Sharon and Dr. Ted Bailey, Patricia Stoiber, the late Edward Stoiber and the late Virginia Bailey, all of Little Rock.

Vows were exchanged at an arbor covered with white hydrangeas, garden roses and stock. Reader was James Harkins and nuptial music was by the Little Rock String Quartet and vocalist Cliff Prowse.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk and lace mermaid-style gown. The sleeveless bodice of French net had a V-neckline and was embellishe­d with lace appliques. The skirt, with a lace overlay, extended to a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, pink and white garden roses and burgundy dahlias.

Eva Catherine Rector served as her mother’s maid of honor. Bridesmaid­s were Jayme Bruton of Camden, sister of the bride; Jill White, Kristen Lee, El Lise Tolson, Brandy Bearry, Brittany Holt, and Rachael Oberste, sister of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock; Rebecca Bailey of San Marco, Texas, sister of the bridegroom; and Susan Prowse of Magnet Cove.

They wore dark navy chiffon and lace gowns in various styles and carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Flower girl was Neely Bailey of Little Rock, cousin of the bridegroom, and ring bearer was Jack Rector, son of the bride.

Erik Bailey of Little Rock, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Dan Oberste, Stuart Shenep, Matt Snyder, Nathan Hanle, Blayne Elliott, Andrew Hopkins, Andrew Scherz and Teddy Bailey, cousin of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock; and John Halley of Winston Salem, N.C.

Guests were seated by Jayme Holt of Little Rock, Tommy Edwards of Fort Worth, Carter King of Fayettevil­le and Brett Seller of Dallas. Serving as junior ushers were Tripp Rector, son of the bride, and Charlie Oberste and Henry Oberste, nephews of the bridegroom, all of Little Rock; and Mac Bruton of Camden, nephew of the bride.

A reception at the farm followed the ceremony. Music was by the Funky Town Band of Memphis.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is principal broker and part owner of iRealty Arkansas.

The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas, Fayettevil­le, and is a commercial real estate developer at Flake and Kelley.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Mexico.
