New Jersey firm buys Splash Car Wash, Jiffy Lube in LR for $2.8M
SCF RC Funding IV LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, bought a Splash Car Wash and a Jiffy Lube at 9500 Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock for $2.8 million last month.
The location last sold for $1.9 million in 2001 and appraised at $1.3 million.
The carwash, built in 1976, has 3,800 square feet and the Jiffy Lube, built in 1986, has 1,800 square feet, according to Pulaski County records.
Robert Paul Stagg is manager of Splash Investment Group LLC in North Little Rock, which was the seller.
Marshall Equity Investments LLC of Little Rock paid $1.7 million last month for Parkway Crossing Apartments in North Little Rock.
Marshall Equity, led by Donald Marshall Jr., took out a $1.4 million mortgage from Southern Bancorp Bank, based in Arkadelphia, with a maturity date of 2021.
The 98-unit two-story apartment complex at 2000 Parkway Drive was built in 1976, according to Pulaski County records. It last appraised at $3.4 million and last sold for $1.7 million in 2015.
The seller was Oowalge LLC.
Benton-based CLBNB Properties LLC paid Cornerstone Properties $1 million for the building and property at 1 Lile Court, Suite 200, in Little Rock last month.
1 Lile Court was the home of Cornerstone Clinic for Women, an obstetrics-gynecology clinic. Last month, Cornerstone moved into a new office nearby at 9500 Baptist Health Drive, a Cornerstone spokesman said.
The new building is about 21,000 square feet compared with the old building, which was about 10,000 square feet, the spokesman said.
Chirie Bazzelle is an officer with CLBNB Properties.
Bazzelle plans to move her New Beginnings Behavioral Services to the former Cornerstone office on Oct. 30. Bazzelle is chief executive officer of New Beginnings Behavioral Services, which has offices in Little Rock and Rison.
New Beginnings specializes in treating children, adolescents and their relatives who struggle
with trauma, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief and relationship problems, according to its website.
CLBNB financed the purchase with an $850,000 mortgage with Fayetteville-based Signature Bank that matures in 2042.
Bazzelle recently was appointed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling.
IFP Realty LLC, of Madison, Ala., paid $850,000 for the former site of Snyder Environmental in North Little Rock last month.
IFP Realty is an affiliate of International Fire Protection Inc., based in Madison. International Fire Protection has 10 offices in six states.
International Fire Protection moved into the building at 7031 Dewafelbakker Lane recently. It had been located on Rowlett Lane in Maumelle for about 15 years, said Brian Birdsong, International Fire Protection’s district manager in Arkansas.
International Fire Protection moved into the new location because it has more space than its previous office. The Dewafelbakker Lane location has about 10,550 square feet on about 1.5 acres. It was built in 2011.
Thousand Peaks Ventures sold the property and Snyder Environmental leased it, said Joe Carter, chief executive officer of Snyder Environmental, which provides environmental remediation services. Carter also is managing member of Thousand Peaks.
Snyder Environmental has moved to a temporary location at 6709 Wayne Drive in North Little Rock, Carter said.
“That allows us [to] reduce overhead expenses while also giving us the flexibility to find a facility with environmental concerns that we could remediate, then rehab the space and reoccupy,” Carter said.
The sale was consistent with Snyder Environmental’s plans to have expanded markets and a strong balance sheet, Carter said.
Snyder Environmental also has offices in Northwest Arkansas and in the DallasFort Worth area.
