TODAY Your Voice, Your Views

CONWAY — The Arkansas Network for Justice will host a community event — Your Voice, Your Views — at 2 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library. The Network invites everyone to join a conversati­on and listening session about the death penalty. The Network will listen to viewpoints and opinions, and make a record of comments without attributin­g sources. Refreshmen­ts will be served. All library events are free and open to the public. TUESDAY Faulkner County Retired Teachers Meeting

CONWAY — The Faulkner County Retired Teachers will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church Activity Center, 1719 Robinson Ave. The program will be by Charlotte Strickland, the University of Central Arkansas director of profession­al developmen­t and training. Matt Hughes of Hughes and Associates will be at the meeting to answer questions.

Trombone Choir Concert

CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas trombone choir, BearBones, will be in concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Snow Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. The performanc­e will include “Celebratio­n,” by Walter Hartley; “Seven Trombones of the Apocalypse,” by Santiago Miguel Alarcón; “O Sacred Head,” by J.S. Bach; “6.35,” by Steven Verhelst; “Musical Sequences” by Vladislay Blazhevich; “Full Tilt,” by Anthony DiLorenzo; “Inveni David,” by Anton Bruckner; and “Olympic Fanfare,” by John Williams. Immigratio­n Service Fair

CONWAY — An Immigratio­n Service Fair will take place from 7-9 p.m. at UCA Downtown, 1105 Oak St. This session will inform students and community members about how they can become more involved in working with organizati­ons that help immigrant communitie­s. The session will include discussion­s from students and faculty members who have engaged in service-learning projects, as well as a service fair, in which attendees can learn more about various organizati­ons. CONWAY — A presentati­on of the Baha’i Faith, a religion based upon the unity of mankind, will take place at 2 p.m. at the Faulkner County Library, 1900 Tyler St. The presentati­on is in commemorat­ion of the bicentenar­y of the birth of Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Baha’i Faith. Rose Show

CONWAY — The Central Arkansas Rose Society will hold its 49th annual rose show from 1:30-4 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Baptist Church, 150 Amity Road. All are welcome to exhibit blooms in the show. MORRILTON — The Conway County Care Center will stock its food pantries through the Harvest of Hope Food Drive, which will include a Fill the Truck event from

Automotive Care 101

CONWAY — Automotive Care 101 will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. at Hines Service Center, 798 Sixth Ave. The class will teach participan­ts about safety, checking fluid levels, changing the oil, maintainin­g a car’s cooling system, changing a flat and more. Spaghetti and Sausage Dinner

ST. VINCENT — The St. Mary’s Altar Society will sponsor its annual fall spaghetti and sausage dinner from 5-8 p.m. in the Parish Hall of

St. Mary Church. The allyou-can-eat dinner costs $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 10. Children 5 and younger may eat free. The menu includes slaw, green beans, homemade bread and pie. Adult takeout meals will be available. The event will feature a bake sale, a country kitchen and a silent auction. The church is 10 miles north of Morrilton on Arkansas 95.
