We feel like we have an opportunity to do something positive every day in somebody’s life,” Daniel said. “We don’t know what they’re experiencing day to day in their home life or their school life or with friends. We want to take advantage of our opportunity to be in front of patients and their family and just try to minister to them — not just their orthodontic needs, but to try to make them feel good about themselves and things that they’re going through.” While the designation of Best Orthodontist was given to Daniel alone, he is too humble to take all the credit. “I’m blessed to be surrounded by all the wonderful people that I work with, a lot of very talented staff members who do a good job of making me look good,” he said. “We have a great family of patients that we get to work with every day. We do consider them to be family and are just really honored that they would consider us in that light.” Daniel added that he and his staff are heavily involved in the community, including with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a ministry called Healing Waters, Our House, the Compassion Center, and the Women and Children First organization. He said mission work and giving back to the community are central in his life. Daniel has been practicing for 28 years and has had his own practice, Daniel Orthodontics, for 27 years. Along with serving the Little Rock area, Daniel Orthodontics has now stretched to cover Bryant and Benton as well. Daniel said he was proud to announce the addition of the business’s new orthodontist, Nicole Powell, who is a recent college graduate.
