FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas Razorbacks safety Santos Ramirez is jacked up about playing a key role in Saturday’s game at LSU.

The Shreveport native was an LSU recruit, but the Tigers backed off him. Ramirez played sparingly in the Razorbacks’ 31-14 victory in Baton Rouge in 2015.

“Football is a game of energy, and that’s one thing I do bring to this game,” Ramirez said. “I have a lot of passion for this game, and you know a lot of guys on this team really respect me as a leader. When I talk and everything, people listen.”
