CABOT — CryeLeike Real Estate Services has named Brad Merritt as managing broker of the company’s Cabot office, 2080 W. Main St., Suite 6. Crye-Leike’s Cabot office is one of 13 company-owned and franchise offices serving buyers and sellers in and around central Arkansas.

Merritt, who has been a member of the Crye-Leike real estate team for more than 19 years, earned his broker’s license in 2015. A Crye-Leike lifetime multimillion-dollar producer member and recipient of the real estate Circle of Excellence award, Merritt is responsible for the recruitment, training and management of the office’s sales associates.

“My attraction to real estate grew from the passion and desire I had to continue serving and helping people in the community,” said Merritt, a retired veteran who served 20 years in the United States Navy.

“Now, as managing broker, I can help other new and seasoned agents to grow and continue their real estate business with that same passion,” he said.

Merritt has earned several designations during his years in real estate, including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Home Buying Advisor ( CHBA) and Certified Home Selling Advisor (CHSA).

In addition to managing the Cabot branch of Crye-Leike, Merritt will work alongside his wife, Jenny, as part of the Realtor duo The Merritt Group, and will continue to meet the real estate needs of buyers and sellers in Pulaski, Lonoke and Saline counties.

“Crye-Leike offers an extensive variety of marketing and educational resources for our agents, including technological tools and techniques to help keep our team up to date and successful in today’s real estate market,” Merritt said. “It is important for me to ensure that my team understands how to utilize these resources so they can be successful in their real estate careers.”
