Man robbed store twice, po­lice say

Au­thor­i­ties said a rob­ber has held up the same Lit­tle Rock con­ve­nience store twice in two weeks.

Ac­cord­ing to a re­port from the Lit­tle Rock Po­lice Depart­ment, the armed as­sailant walked into the business lo­cated at 13622 Sardis Road in the south­ern part of the city around 4:50 p.m. Fri­day.

He held a large black knife above his head and took $500 from the reg­is­ter, au­thor­i­ties said. He then grabbed a car­ton of New­port cig­a­rettes and Swisher Sweet cigars be­fore leav­ing the store and head­ing for the woods, ac­cord­ing to the re­port.

The rob­ber was de­scribed as a black man in his early 20s who weighs about 140 pounds and has short and curly black hair. A cashier told po­lice it was the same man who had robbed the store Nov. 3.

No sus­pects have been named, and no ar­rests had been made at the time of the po­lice re­port.
