Bentonville police report 2 robberies

BENTONVILLE — Bentonville police are investigating the robberies of two businesses that occurred over the weekend.

The first robbery happened at 1:35 a.m. Saturday at the Kum & Go at 800 S.E. J St., according to a news release from the Bentonville Police Department. The second robbery occurred at 6:38 p.m. Sunday at the Dollar General Store at 2107 S. Walton Blvd.

The robber in both incidents was described as a darker-skinned man wearing dark clothing and a black ski mask. The robber told employees at both businesses that he had a gun but didn’t display a weapon, according to police.
