BURLINGTON (Boone County), 1914 — The image captured the students at the rural community north of Harrison. “I am going to send you one of our school groups. You will have to excuse this writing for I am sick & in bed at this writing. The Dr. said he was afraid I was taking the typhoid fever. Papa & Ma set up & give me medicine all night. I have had the Dr. 3 times and is coming back again today.”
