Enos to Michigan
Former Arkansas offensive coordinator Dan Enos (above) has been hired for a position on the staff at Michigan, according to a report. Enos, 49, who spent the past three seasons as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach with the Razorbacks, was formerly the head coach at Central Michigan.
Former University of Arkansas, Fayetteville offensive coordinator Dan Enos has reportedly found a new job.
Citing an unnamed source, Sports Illustrated reporter Bruce Feldman posted on Twitter that Enos would be hired to a position at Michigan. Feldman did not specify Enos’ new position.
Enos, 49, spent the past three seasons as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Arkansas, but he was fired along with seven other assistant coaches in December after Chad Morris was hired to replace Bret Bielema as the Razorbacks head coach.
Enos is a native of Dearborn, Mich., and played at Michigan State. He is the former head coach at Central Michigan and also has had stops as an assistant coach at Michigan State, Western Michigan and Northern Michigan.
Enos would be the second Arkansas staff member to join the Wolverines this offseason. Former strength coach Ben Hebert was hired to the same position at Michigan on Thursday.
Other former Arkansas assistant coaches to find employment elsewhere are Paul Rhoads as defensive backs coach at UCLA and Vernon Hargreaves Jr. as inside linebackers coach at Missouri.
