ALLISON ANN SPAULDING LOGAN DALE CRUSE

Allison Ann Spaulding and Logan Dale Cruse exchanged marriage vows at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Christ the King Catholic Church with the Rev. Erik Pohlmeier officiatin­g.

Lindy and Steve Spaulding of Little Rock are the parents of the bride. Her grandparen­ts are Patricia Elmore and Elaine and Thomas Elmore, all of Pine Bluff, Shirley Spaulding of Tampa, Fla., and Donald Spaulding of Auburn, Mich.

The groom is the son of Kim Cruse of Bryant and Cindy and Steve Cruse of Alexander. He is the grandson of Barbara and Fred Cruse of Paducah, Ky., Linda and Elson Dorsey of Kevil, Ky., and Amy and Joe Edwards of Barlow, Ky.

The church was decorated for Christmas. Music was by organist Steven Shook and cantors Cass Martin and Cara Chapman.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory taffeta gown with a pleated Empire bodice and full skirt. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas, stock, ranunculus and garden roses.

The bride’s sister, Ashley Spaulding Burch of San Antonio, was matron of honor. Bridesmaid­s were Karley Cruse of Bryant, sister of the groom; Courtney Drake of Sherwood; Juliana Griffin and Jordan Neely, both of Dallas; Ellery King of Fayettevil­le; and Emily Thompson of Jonesboro, cousin of the bride. They wore navy satin gowns and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Steven Spaulding of Fayettevil­le, brother of the bride; Canyon Clark, Trent Daniel and Jared Szabad, all of Bryant; Taylor Masters of Hot Springs; and Clay Lambert of Texarkana, Texas.

Guests were seated by Trey Burch of San Antonio and Andrew Elmore, Greyson Elmore and Tanner Elmore, all of Maumelle and cousins of the bride.

A reception at Chenal Country Club was held after the ceremony. Various arrangemen­ts of hydrangeas, orchids, tulips and garden roses centered guest tables. Music was by Al Paris and the Heartbreak­ers.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of Arkansas, Fayettevil­le. She is a first-grade teacher at Lakeside Primary School, Hot Springs.

The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is an account manager at Stryker Corporatio­n.

The couple will make their home in Benton after a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
