–––––❖––––– MARY LOUISE PARKER LAMB, 94, passed away February 23, 2018.

She was born in Conway, Ark., on August 19, 1923 to the late Robert Julius Parker and Louise Marie Riedmatten Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Robert J. Parker and her husband of 69 years, Marion William Lamb.

She is survived by her sister in law, Mary Alice Lamb Cole and JoAnn Lamb Smith (Buster). She is also survived by nieces and nephews Anita Lawhorn Schwenk (Bob), Marilyn Cole Watson (Johnny) Carolyn Cole Reed (Charles), David Cole, Paul Lamb (Cathy), William H. Lamb (Nancy), Susan Lamb Bell, James Lamb (Joyce), Debbie Smith (Charles), Marshall Smith (Karen), Donna Smith, Michelle Smith Elmore (Jeff).

Mrs. Lamb was employed by the Conway School District for 40 years as Administra­tive Assistant to the Superinten­dent. After retirement she and her husband, Marion moved to Jacksonvil­le where they resided until moving into a retirement home, Parkway Village in Little Rock.

The family wished to thank Louise Denton, Karen Smith and Joyce Lamb for their faithful help in caring for Mary Louise these past few years.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral

Home at 11 am, with visitation preceding the service from 1011 am. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

MIMI BACK LOEB, age 91, passed away February 25, 2018 in Little Rock.

Mimi was born February

11, 1927 in Little Rock. She graduated from

Little Rock High

School and Keystone Junior

College in Pennsylvan­ia.

Mimi married

Milton L. Loeb on January 12, 1949. Miltie, as he was known, passed away in 1997. They were married 48 years.

Mimi was predecease­d by her parents, Phillip G. Back and Alice L. Back, of Little Rock. She is survived by her sister Marilyn B. Weinstein, and by her children, Milton L. Loeb III and his wife Michelle LeMaire, Alan P. Loeb, Mark L. Loeb, and Jane L. Levine and her husband Scott A. Levine, and by her grandchild­ren, Amy A. Levine, Rachel H. Levine, Miriam C. Loeb, Breck A. Loeb, and her four legged grandson Kelev.

Mimi was the fourth generation of her family to live in Little Rock. Counting her grandchild­ren, there have been six generation­s living in Little Rock.

Mimi was civic minded. She was a member of the Women’s Emergency Committee to Open Our Schools during the Central High crisis. She served on the board of the Arkansas Craft Guild and organized the national convention of the Acoustic Neuroma Associatio­n in Little Rock. She volunteere­d for both of Bill Clinton’s Presidenti­al campaigns and participat­ed in his inaugurati­on in 1992. She was an active member of Congregati­on B’nai Israel and its Sisterhood.

In 1977, Mimi and Miltie establishe­d Speedee Print, one of Little Rock’s first quick printing businesses. In 1987, Jane and Scott Levine joined the company and built it into RiverCity Print and Imaging.

She loved to play bridge and mah jongg. Above all, Mimi cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Temple B’nai Israel on Tuesday, February 27 at 1 pm.
