MAGALIA, Calif. — Roderick J. Hughes of Magalia, Calif., passed away February 24, 2018, in Little Rock. He was born September 11, 1928, to the late Edith and Howard Hughes. Roderick retired

after 30 years of military service with the U.S. Navy, Air Force and the Army. He was a member of Craig Congregati­onal Church and the Eastern

Star.

Roderick was preceded in death by his wife, Betty.

Those surviving him are daughter, Nancy Pou; granddaugh­ters, Stephanie Watson (Adam) and Jaclyn Loomis; great-grandson, Robert Hunt; sisters, Karen and Sandy; and step-children: Danee, Donald, Alan, Judy, Debbie, Rickey and Randy.
