TEMPLETON, Calif. — Andrew Robert Reis was born January 17, 1977, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He passed away on February 19, 2018, in Templeton, California.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathe­r, Thomas Allen; grandfathe­r, Sol Reis Shmookler; grandmothe­r,

Saralee Novack; and Uncle Michael Novack. Survivors include his mother, Ivory Kinslow (Henry); father,

Lee); sister,

Sarah Stashuk (Christophe­r); sister, Rachel Kinslow; grandmothe­r, Irene Allan; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Born in Scotland, Andrew lived in Canada for three years and then lived in the USA. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and Philosophy from Hendrix College in Arkansas and obtained his Multiple Teaching Credential.

Andrew was the kind of guy who could walk in and get 35 on the ACT test and a Master’s Degree, but spend his life working on hunger projects and teaching special needs children.

He had a special talent for trivia and his team won many competitio­ns. He will be missed by his family, friends and hundreds of children he would have taught.

A Celebratio­n of Life was held in California on February 23, 2018. There will be a small family memorial service in Little Rock in April, followed by a Celebratio­n of Life in Scotland for his British family. –––––❖––––– EDMOND, Okla. — Travis C. Snyder, 75, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, February 23, 2018. Travis was born September 4, 1942, in Denver, Colo., to Lamont Benjamin “L.B.” and Eula Jean (Crutchfiel­d) Snyder. His family moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas, when he was 6. Travis attended Bethany Nazarene College, then University of Arkansas, receiving a bachelor’s degree in 1964. Travis joined the United States Marine Corps in 1967 and served in the Vietnam Conflict, completing his service in 1969. He then earned a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 1970. His career as an Industrial Chemist then took him to Oklahoma, where he remained until his passing. Travis served as a NBC instructor in the US Army Reserves from 1979 until he was ordered to active duty in support of Operation Desert Shield, serving from 1990-1991, after which he retired from military service.

Travis is survived by his children, Trevor Snyder and his wife Sara of Edmond, Okla., and Sydney “Syndy” Lynch and her husband Shaun of Frisco, Texas; as well as their mother, Sydney (Arnoult) Snyder of Baton Rouge, La.; and grandchild­ren, Hannah, Olivia, Taya, and Benjamin Snyder, and Kaiser and Kentley Lynch.

Travis spent his final years at the Skyview Nursing Home and his family thanks the staff and fellow patients who provided comforting care and warm friendship. Travis will be buried in the Fort Gibson National Veterans Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018.

–––––❖––––– BECKLEY, W.Va. — Colby Collier, 34, of Beckley, W.Va., formerly of Wynne, died Friday, February 23, 2018. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment in Loughridge Cemetery. Visitation is 10 a.m. to service time.
