JUPITER, Fla. — Steven Ross McFarland, age 33, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Camden, Arkansas, died Friday, March 16, at home. He was born October 8, 1984, in New Orleans, La., a son of Jan Jackson McFarland, Jupiter, Fla. and the late Dr. Gale Allen McFarland. He received his education in the Camden Public School System. He served in the Arkansas National Guard from 2002 to 2008 and served in the Iraq conflict 2004 to 2005. He was a Presbyteri­an.

Surviving other than his mother and caregiver are three brothers James Wesley McFarland, Travis Allen McFarland and Auburn Jackson McFarland all of Jupiter, Fla; grandmothe­r Ann Jackson Maxwell, Jupiter, Fla. Preceding him in death were grandparen­ts, AJ McFarland and Estelle McFarland and Leaman Jackson.

The family appreciate­s the care of Treasure Coast Hospice and the following caregivers Vickie Ray, Jeanie, Carol Woodbrey, Michelle and Lu and all the friends who helped support Steven. Funeral services 2 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Frazer’s Chapel by Rev. Wayman Mann. Burial in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Visitation: 1 p.m. until service time at Frazer’s Funeral Home. Calling hours 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at Frazer’s. Memorial suggested to Treasure Coast Hospice. He is survived by sons, Nathaniel Taylor-Williams and Nathaniel Tyrone Williams, brother, Eddie Williams and cousins, Chester, Buck, Vell and Bunny Caldwell.
