Company equips customers for their health

ATTENTION Medical Supply, which has locations in Heber Springs and Newport, offers a variety of home medical equipment for customers’ health care needs.

Co-owner Tim Martin helped start the company 13 years ago when Newport Hospital was closing its doors. “They saw a need in the community for a quality home equipment supplier, and they decided to fill that need,” he said.

“We are constantly challenged,” Martin said. “Recent changes in the health insurance market have only increased the challenges, but we are seeking to meet them every day.”

ATTENTION Medical Supply seeks to offer a full range of high-quality medical-equipment products, from beds to mobility products and everything in between. The company carries lift-chairs, CPAP and BiPAP equipment, incontinence products, scooters, wheelchairs and much more. It also seeks to provide educational information that is designed to help the customers better understand their conditions and recommended treatments. Patient comfort, confidence and ease are the business’s main priorities, and this is spelled out in its company slogan – “Where you get the ATTENTION you deserve!”

Employees are trained and prepared to help customers identify the products that meet their specific needs, which may also include customizing equipment to fit that “special need.” Employees are also trained to help customers file all necessary insurance paperwork or seek out alternative methods of funding, if necessary.

“The only reason we are successful is because of our employees,” he said.

ATTENTION Medical Supply also offers 24-hour emergency service and pickup and delivery of equipment up to 100 miles from the company’s facilities.
