With excellent customer service, innovative products and a locally focused business model, one area bank is working to make a difference in people’s lives.

First National Bank-McCrory is a community-focused bank that works to be a valuable partner for the customers the business serves.

“We are dedicated to investing in our communities by supporting local businesses, nonprofit organizations and people,” said Tim St. Clair, community president and vice president of First National Bank in McCrory.

Formerly known as the Bank of McCrory, the bank was acquired by First National Bank in February. The former bank was founded in 1903.

“I enjoy working with the people in my community,” St. Clair said. “Our employees and customers share the same love for this community. Working with, and for, a group of people who share the same passion is unique and special.”

The bank offers a variety of services to the community, including personal savings and checking accounts, mobile banking, lending and trust services, and much more. First National Bank has seven locations in Cherry Valley, Forrest City, Harrisburg, McCrory and Wynne.

“Our professional staff can help our customers determine which product will be best for them, whether that be a deposit or loan product, trust services or just financing advice,” he said.

St. Clair said his favorite part of being in the banking business is seeing the relationships that are built with customers.

“People come to us when they have a goal, dream or life-changing event,” he said. “You can’t help but enjoy being part of these big moments for others, like when someone comes in to talk about financing for a wedding ring, expanding their home because their family is growing or starting up a business they’ve always dreamed of.
