Sanifah Yusof, a Malaysian coast guard official, said divers searching a capsized Chinese sand dredger off Malaysia’s southern coast rescued two sailors from the ship’s engine room, who were apparently trapped in an air pocket that had kept them alive more than 50 hours after the vessel overturned.
