KAY JONES of North Little Rock passed away March 24, 2018 after battling cancer for eighteen years.

She was born

July 23, 1944 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Gerald William and Edna

Joyce Clark. Kay was an active member of Central Baptist Church, North Little Rock then the Bible Church of Little Rock. She served as the secretary at Central Baptist and the NLR School District. Church and family were the two most important things in her life, but her life calling was being a wife, mother, and grandmothe­r to her family. Her last instructio­n to all is “follow Him.”

Survivors include her husband, George S. Jones, Jr., children: Stephen Jones (Tammy), Dr. Jon Jones (Angie), and Mark Jones; grandchild­ren: Elise, Luke, Mackenzie, Drew, Lia, and Abrah Jones; great-granddaugh­ter, Hayloh; siblings Greg Clark and Debbie Weyland (Graeme); and other extended family members. Kay was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jerry and Scott Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene, c/o Country Christmas, 116 South Pine, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72114.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, followed by the Funeral at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park.

Survivors: husband, David Malloy; sons, Bobby and Patrick; daughter, JoAnna; and brothers, Bill and Ed. Per her request there will be no service.
