Alyssa Jordan Broyles and Joshua Samuel Mark Hallenbeck exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jay Clark officiated.
Parents of the bride are Cynthia Broyles of Little Rock and Tom and Tisha Broyles of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of Letha and the late William “Bill” Chadwell of Greers Ferry and the late Barbara Broyles and the late Frank Broyles, both of Fayetteville.
Tina and Bill Hallenbeck of Harrison are the parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Marilyn and the late Guss Scroggins of Harrison.
The chancel was decorated with arrangements of magnolia blooms, Italian ruscus, white garden roses and ranunculus. Music was by organist Stan Cox.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an A-line gown of ivory silk-satin. The sleeveless bodice had a bateau neckline and beaded belt at the waist. The skirt extended to a cathedral train. She carried a bouquet of magnolia, white garden roses, green hypericum, white ranunculus and cascading Italian ruscus and eucalyptus.
Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Beau Broyles, sister of the bride, and Paige Thompson Skelton, both of Fayetteville, and Hannah Lavy of Dallas. Bridesmaids were Katherine Claire Olszewski and Katie Eichner Dulle, both of New York; Carrie Kampelman Howell of St. Louis; Heather Trumpfheller of Austin, Texas; and Mackenzie Smith of Kansas City, Mo. They wore floor-length evergreen-colored sleeveless chiffon gowns and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.
Dalton Dewey of Russellville was best man. Groomsmen were Will Skelton of Fayetteville; Franklin Broyles of Dallas and Thomas Broyles of Fayetteville, brothers of the bride; Grant O’Neal of Richardson, Texas; Christoph Keller and Austin Grinder, both of Little Rock; and John Cunningham of Philadelphia. Guests were seated by Michael Goswami, David Bingham and Daniel Bingham, all of Little Rock; and Nelson Davis of Berryville.
After the ceremony a reception was held at The Little Rock Club. Tables held a variety of centerpieces including tiered vases with floating candles and white arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, magnolias and ranunculus.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and the University of Arkansas School of Law with a law degree. She is a lawyer at Friday, Eldredge & Clark.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in biology from John Brown University and a law degree from the UA School of Law. He is a lawyer at Mullenix & Associates.
After a honeymoon in Savannah, Ga., the couple are at home in Little Rock.
