Gov. Asa Hutchinson recently announced the following appointmen­ts:

To the Waterways Commission, Craig Mobley, El Dorado, appointmen­t expires Jan. 14, 2020, replaces Judge Michael Loftin; and Marty Shell, Fort Smith, appointmen­t expires Jan. 14, 2025, replaces Paul Latture.

To the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks, to appointmen­ts expiring Dec. 31, 2021, Al Eckert, Little Rock, replaces Charles Clark, and Murray Benton Sr., Jonesboro, replaces Daniel Murdaugh.

To the Fire and Police Pension Review Board, to reappointm­ents expiring Jan. 1, 2022, Lance Spicer, Hot Springs; Farris Hensley, Alexander; and Bill Lundy, Little Rock.

To the Home Inspector Registrati­on Board, to terms expiring Jan. 26, 2020, W.C. McBride, Benton, who replaces Joseph Kanopsic, and reappointm­ents Marliese Kerr, Little Rock; Wayne Pace, Little Rock; Allen Trammell, Alexander.

To the Appraiser Licensing and Certificat­ion Board, to terms expiring Jan. 15, 2021, Joshua Barkhimer, Camden, replaces Peter Prutzman; and reappointm­ents Scott McKennon, Morrilton; Brian Hester, Farmington; Tom Ferstl, Little Rock; and Cary Matthews, Jonesboro.

To the board of trustees of the Local Police and Fire Retirement System, to terms expiring Jan. 1, 2022, reappointe­d Lt. J. Scott Baxter, Jonesboro, and appointed Gary Carnahan, Hot Springs, who replaces Catherine Cook.

Josh Newton, Bryant, as a special justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. CV17-723 The Park Apartments at Fayettevil­le, LP, et al. v. Shilah Plants. Replaces Justice Josephine Linker Hart, who has disqualifi­ed herself from the case.

Grant Fortson, Little Rock, as a special justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court. CV-17-500 Arkansas Department of Human Services v. Tegan Dowdy. Replaces Justice Robin F. Wynne, who has disqualifi­ed himself from the case.

Louis Bastin, Fort Smith, as a justice of the peace for the Sebastian County Quorum Court, District 8. Appointmen­t expires Dec. 31. Replaces Donald Carter Sr.

Rose Mary Fite, Sparkman, as a justice of the peace for the Dallas County Quorum Court, District 7. Appointmen­t expires Dec. 31. Replaces Alfred Fite.

Jackie Sikes, Clinton, as a justice of the peace for the Van Buren County Quorum Court, District 9. Appointmen­t expires Dec. 31. Replaces Richard Sundelin.

Wesley Howard, Dierks, as a justice of the peace for the Howard County Quorum Court, District 2. Appointmen­t expires Dec. 31. Replaces Gary Welch.

Baxter County Judge Mickey Pendergras­s, Mountain Home, as a special county judge in Marion County court. Marion County Court Case Numbers 2016-001 and 2017-001. Replaces Marion County Judge Terry Ott, who has disqualifi­ed himself from both cases.
