He is shown lying atop a cushion and a blanket embroidered with a rose. That image was snapped when Louis was just three days old. He was born April 23 and went home the same day. Taylor Swift surprised an 8-year-old girl at the Phoenix hospital where she has been recovering from devastating burns.

The Arizona Republic reported the pop star showed up unannounced Saturday at the Arizona Burn Center to see Isabella McCune. The girl’s family made a video on Wednesday of her asking for Swift to visit because she couldn’t leave the hospital for the singer’s concert this week. Swift stayed for about 20 minutes. She signed autographs and gifted Isabella with a bag of merchandise from her concert tour. The McCune family said Isabella suffered third-degree burns over 65 percent of her body when a fire broke out at a neighborhood party on St. Patrick’s Day in March. The girl said hugs sometimes hurt but asked for one from Swift.

The White House says Melania

Trump will announce her initiatives as first lady today. The first lady’s spokesman, Stephanie Grisham, said the focus will be on the overall well-being of children, which Mrs. Trump has spoken about since becoming first lady. Grisham added that the first lady will concentrate her initiative on the range of issues children face as they grow up and will not tailor it to a single topic. Mrs. Trump has a 12-year-old son, Barron, and has expressed her interest in children through numerous visits to hospitals and schools. She recently turned the Blue Room at the White House into a mock classroom and invited middle school students to share their hopes and dreams with her. Today’s announcement is set for the Rose Garden.
