LUTHER BAUGH JR., 83, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, June 23,

2018. He was born in Searcy,

Baugh. Luther was an active member of Little

Rock First Nazarene Church for over 65 years. He retired as the owner of Scheidt-Baugh Cabinets, after dedicating 60 years of his life to cabinet making. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Baugh and his sister, Pat Shourd. He was loved and will be missed by countless friends. His legacy lives on through his family and all the lives he has touched through his years of serving the Lord at First Church, and his wood working creations all over the state.

Mr. Baugh is survived by his children, Curtis Baugh (Sharri DeSalvo) of Johns Creek, Ga., Sherri Pearson of Wylie, Texas, and Rita Powell (David) of Roland, Ark.; grandchild­ren, Colette Baugh, William Powell, Holly Baugh, Heather Priddy, Lori Baugh and Tori Pearson; great-grandchild­ren, Melanie Clarke, Corbin Rudolph, Madilyn Powell and Lincoln Powell; sister, Helen Gentry; brother, Don Baugh; as well as Kathy Baugh.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26 at Little Rock First Nazarene Church. Burial will be at Fosters Chapel Cemetery in Searcy at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon. The family

NITA FAYE TAYLOR MILLER MOORE, 85, of Little Rock passed away on

June 24, 2018.

She was born

March 19, 1933, in Fordyce, Arkansas to Chester and Esther

Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister

Betty Jo Brooks, her husband of 39 years, Fred Miller; and her son, Mark Miller. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Don Moore; and her daughters, Dawne Carroll (Brian) and Terri Garner (Dale); 15 grandchild­ren and 21 great grandchild­ren. Two sisters and a brother also survive her, Pat Joyner, Brenda Allen (Art), Rick Taylor (Lori).

Nita was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and had served as a faithful member of Baptist Tabernacle, Parkway Place Baptist Church, and was a devoted and well-loved pastor’s wife in various churches where her husband, Dr. Moore served. Her ministry of outreach and teaching were very meaningful. Her ministry of prayer, speaking to women’s groups, encouragem­ent through written notes and the giving of “Jesus Calling” devotional books touched many lives.

Visitation will be Monday evening, June 25, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Roller Chenal Funeral Home. There will be a private burial on Tuesday morning with a memorial service to follow at Immanuel Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m.
