Booth M. Owens has received the Jeanne D. Weiss Award from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health.
Arkansas State University-Mountain Home has given two employees awards for outstanding service:
Mindy Fulcher, an instructor in art, graphic design and web design, was named 201718 Faculty Member of the Year.
Roberta Heldenbrand, a payroll technician, was named 2017-18 Staff Member of the Year.
Two recent graduates of Little Rock Central High School were awarded scholarships by the Little Rock Civitan Club. The students and the schools they plan to attend are:

Foster Rash, a graduate of Jacksonville High School who plans to attend Central Baptist College, has been awarded the Ralph G. Norman Scholarship by the Learning Disabilities Association of Arkansas.
