Eagle Scouts
Patrick Maris, 16, is the son of Mahlon and Beth
Maris of Little Rock. He is a member of Troop 30 in Little Rock at St. Paul
United Methodist Church.
Patrick built a deck behind the church’s Baxley building, which houses the office of the Ozark Mission Project. This structure can be used as an outdoor meeting space.
Ethan Wold, 17, is the son of Scott and
Carol Wold of
Little Rock. He is a member of Troop 29 in Little Rock at Christ the
King Catholic Church.
Ethan rebuilt a bridge that goes from the church parking lot to the parking lot of the office buildings next door. This allows for overflow parking for both the church parishioners and office workers.
Ollie Burrow, 18, is the son of Jim and
Emily Burrow of Little Rock.
He is a member of Troop
227 in Little
Rock at Calvary Baptist Church. Ollie led a team in building boxes at Wildwood Park to shelter wild bats. He also made an informational display to educate parkgoers about the role bats play in the ecosystem.
Parker Lee, 18, is the son of Jon and Leisa Lee of Rogers. He is a member of Troop 81 in Rogers at Central United Methodist Church. Parker designed and built an entry ramp for the St. Vincent de Paul Food
Pantry in Rogers to help patrons using shopping carts.
Reynard Benson Jr., 17, is the son of Reynard Benson Sr. of Fort Smith. He is a member of Troop 2 in
Fort Smith at
First United Methodist Church. Reynard and his troop inspected the avenue of flags at Fort Smith National Cemetery, which involved checking each flag hole for obstructions and marking the holes that needed to be replaced.
