CRESTVIEW, Fla. — Cliff Wesson Jr. of Crestview, Florida, was born July 8, 1947 in

Ward, Arkansas to Cliff and Mabel Wesson. He died July 8, 2018 in Florida with his wife by his side.

Cliff moved to

Florida 27 years ago and worked in the transporta­tion business. He was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He loved fishing, boating, golf and his guitars. Cliff was able to finish one of his goals, graduating from University of West Florida in 2003 with multiple degrees.

Cliff is survived by his wife Nancy of 49 years; two sons, Brian (Brandy) and Jonathan (Amanda); and six grandchild­ren, Katie, Dillon, Anna Grace, Aiden, Jake, and Cole. Many relatives and friends in Arkansas and Florida will greatly miss him.

Memorial contributi­ons may be made to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Little Rock, followed by burial in Old Austin Cemetery. A native of Marvell, in the Delta of Arkansas, she was an educator for her profession­al career and also into her retirement. Beloved mother of Raymond (Regina) Gibson,Willard Gibson, Vernon (Sonya) Gibson, Jonathan Gibson and Ardella Gibson, she touched the lives of countless numbers of sons and daughters from her community. Cherished grandmothe­r of two and one pooch she will be missed by many.

Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 10 a.m. as she lays in repose, with the funeral at 11 a.m. at the Salem M.B. Church, 105 Haven Street, Forrest City, Arkansas.
