Segura and Jesus Aguilar won the MLB Final Vote, placing them in Tuesday’s All-Star Game. Segura, a former Arkansas Traveler, tallied the most fan votes of the five American League finalists, beating out former Arkansas Razorback Andrew Benintendi of the Boston Red Sox, Giancarlo Stanton of the New York Yankees, Eddie Rosario of the Minnesota Twins and Andrelton Simmons of the Los Angeles Angels. Aguilar edged out Brandon Belt of the San Francisco Giants, Max Muncy of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Matt Carpenter of the St. Louis Cardinals, and Trea Turner of the Washington Nationals for the last National League spot in the voting.
