AVILLA — Anita Jones, 91, of Avilla, passed away on July 11, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1926, in Poyen, Arkansas, to the late Sam and Orphia Brumbelow Sanders. Anita was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Whitney Jones. Anita is survived by her husband of 71 years, Dr. Curtis Jones of Benton, son, Kurt Jones of Conway and daughter, Emilia Jones Chastain and husband, Fred, of Avilla, four grandchild­ren, six great-grandchild­ren and one great-great-grandchild.

BAUXITE — Cynthia J. Blamberg, age 47, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 10, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock following a long and fierce battle with Lung Cancer.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, David Blamberg, siblings Cheryl Mann (Brian), and Donald Rudd (Kayla), daughters Elizabeth Haas (Patrick) and Stephanie Sheridan, 5 grandchild­ren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn and Jerry Don Rudd, and one son, Stephen Rudd.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, July 14, at Berea Baptist Church, Jacksonvil­le, Ark., by Rev. Ronnie Rudd. HAZEN — Frank Rodgers Vandenbrou­ck, 89, of Hazen, Arkansas, received his orders for transfer to the staff of the Supreme Commander on July 12, 2018. Frank was born May 20, 1929, in Grenada, Mississipp­i,

to Frank J. and Zeta Vandenbrou­ck. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam conflict. He retired after 24 years of service.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, mother, infant sister, his wives, Fresina Vandenbrou­ck and Lottie J. Vandenbrou­ck, and stepsister, Sylvia Loveless. He is survived by a niece, Rosa M. Baker, and her husband, Jesse, of North Little Rock and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, July 15. Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, July 16, at the Brasfield First United Methodist Church in Brasfield, Arkansas. Burial will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 17, at the Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
