AVILLA — Anita Jones, 91, of Avilla, passed away on July 11, 2018. She was born on July 13, 1926, in Poyen, Arkansas, to the late Sam and Or­phia Brum­be­low San­ders. Anita was of the Methodist faith.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents and son, Whit­ney Jones. Anita is sur­vived by her hus­band of 71 years, Dr. Curtis Jones of Benton, son, Kurt Jones of Con­way and daugh­ter, Emilia Jones Chas­tain and hus­band, Fred, of Avilla, four grand­chil­dren, six great-grand­chil­dren and one great-great-grand­child.

BAUX­ITE — Cyn­thia J. Blam­berg, age 47, passed away peace­fully Tues­day, July 10, at Bap­tist Hospi­tal in Lit­tle Rock fol­low­ing a long and fierce bat­tle with Lung Can­cer.

She is sur­vived by her lov­ing hus­band of 20 years, David Blam­berg, sib­lings Ch­eryl Mann (Brian), and Don­ald Rudd (Kayla), daugh­ters El­iz­a­beth Haas (Pa­trick) and Stephanie Sheri­dan, 5 grand­chil­dren and a host of nieces, neph­ews, fam­ily and friends. Pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Carolyn and Jerry Don Rudd, and one son, Stephen Rudd.

Me­mo­rial ser­vices will be 1 p.m., Satur­day, July 14, at Berea Bap­tist Church, Jack­sonville, Ark., by Rev. Ron­nie Rudd. HAZEN — Frank Rodgers Van­den­brouck, 89, of Hazen, Arkansas, re­ceived his or­ders for trans­fer to the staff of the Supreme Com­man­der on July 12, 2018. Frank was born May 20, 1929, in Gre­nada, Mis­sis­sippi,

to Frank J. and Zeta Van­den­brouck. He served in the U.S. Navy dur­ing World War II, the Korean con­flict, and the Viet­nam con­flict. He re­tired af­ter 24 years of ser­vice.

Frank was pre­ceded in death by his fa­ther, mother, in­fant sis­ter, his wives, Fresina Van­den­brouck and Lot­tie J. Van­den­brouck, and step­sis­ter, Sylvia Love­less. He is sur­vived by a niece, Rosa M. Baker, and her hus­band, Jesse, of North Lit­tle Rock and sev­eral other nieces and neph­ews.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be at West­brook Funeral Home in Hazen from 4 to 6 p.m., Sun­day, July 15. Ser­vices will be 11 a.m., Mon­day, July 16, at the Bras­field First United Methodist Church in Bras­field, Arkansas. Burial will be 11 a.m., Tues­day, July 17, at the Lit­tle Rock Na­tional Ceme­tery in Lit­tle Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flow­ers, dona­tions may be made to the char­ity of your choice.
