Mr. WILLIAM B. ELLIOTT SR., (66), of Sherwood, Ark. was unexpected­ly called home to the Lord on July 11, 2018. William was born on November 15, 1951 to Theodore and Versie Elliott. He was an educator for well over 30 years until he retired from the Pulaski County Special School District. William was a loving husband, father, and grandfathe­r.

Raymond was the former owner of Model Market of Jacksonvil­le in the 1950’s and 60’s, was a Bail Bond agent for 40 years, and was a Korean War veteran proudly serving in the Army and Marine Corps. He was a 1st Master Mason of Magnolia Lodge #60, was a member of the Knights Templar of Little Rock, Ark., a member of the Scimitar Shrine Temple and a 32nd degree Scottish Right Mason.

AMITY — Franklin E. “Churn” Lunsford, age 82, of Amity, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 17,

2018. Franklin was born on

May 13, 1936 in

Roland, Arkansas to his late parents, Arthur and Mae Redmon Lunsford.

Franklin was an elevator mechanic in Central Arkansas for more than 30 years and a member of Oak Grove Church in Amity. In addition, he was an avid animal lover and a Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Shyral Lunsford; one son, Raymond Lunsford (Stacy) of Amity, Ark.; two daughters, Geni Jackson of Princeton, Illinois and Christy Vocque (Alan) of Bauxite, Ark.; 14 grandchild­ren and 15 great-grandchild­ren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Lunsford; three grandsons, Rodney Jackson II, Kevin Lunsford and Matthew Lunsford; two brothers, A.J. Lunsford and Utah Lunsford.

She was born May 17, 1941, the daughter of Gordon Harry and Julia Vivian Murry Smart in Searcy, Ark. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a Baptist. During her 23-year teaching career, she taught school in Blackwell, Okla.; Bryant, Ark.; Jacksonvil­le, Ark.; Pulaski County Special School District, and Little Rock School District.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Gordon Harry Smart Jr., and one sister, Glenda Kaye Smart Ratliff. She is survived by one son, Charles Allan Wilson and wife Marcy; one daughter, Julia Monica Wilson; one brother, Thomas Michael Smart; one sister, Melissa Anne Smart Hulls; two grandchild­ren, Andrew Wilson and wife Sarah and Matthew Wilson; three great-grandchild­ren, Kelsey Marie, Shelby Ann, and Charles Michael Wilson.

EL PASO — Gary Gene Bourgeois was a loving husband, father, brother and son. He was dear and cherished by all of his family and friends. Gary was born February 8, 1961, in Wareham, Massachuse­tts.

He grew up in Georgia and graduated from Peachtree High School. He participat­ed in many activities including swimming, tennis, golf, just to name a few.

Gary enlisted in the United States Navy so he could, “have a free ride to sail around the world, twice.” He was honorably discharged in 1986. He then moved back to Georgia where he eventually met the love of his life. Melissa and Gary were married for 22 years. In 2013 they moved to El Paso, Arkansas and embraced farm life whole heartedly.

Gary was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1998 and this debilitati­ng disease slowly took a toll on his life. He finally was laid to rest and peace the morning of July 15, 2018. Gary loved the beach, fireworks, grilling bbq ribs and jamming out to loud music!

Gary was preceded by his son, Blake Bourgeois, and survived by his wife Melissa Bourgeois, daughter, Lauren Bourgeois Ross (Dave), parents, Gene & Carlie Bourgeois, sister, Debbie Behr, uncle, Father Roger Bourgeois, SSS and many other family, friends, and loved ones. He was very loved and will be missed by all.

–––––❖––––– GREENBRIER — Elvia Fragstein, a businesswo­man and resident of Greenbrier, Arkansas, who was abducted and then taken from us in July 7, 2018, at the age of 72 while she was shopping at the Conway Common shopping center.

Elvia is survived by her loving husband, Helmut Fragstein, her children Hugo Fernando Castaneda Barrero, Claudia Castaneda Barrero, Juan Carlos Castaneda Barrero, Nicolas Polania Barrero and Claudia Von Fragstein. Her beloved grandchild­ren Brian Fanella, Juan Sebastian Castaneda Buitrago, Hugo Fernando Castaneda Buitrago, Mariana Salazar Castaneda, Andres Salazar Castaneda, Juan Camilo Castaneda, and Carolyn Fanella. She is predecease­d by her sister Rosalba.

Elvia was born in Huila, Colombia, on May 3, 1946; she was a businesswo­man who owned two alcohol companies in Colombia. Later on, on October 10, 2000, she married Helmut Fragstein and then immigrated to the United States of America where she lived part of her retirement in Wisconsin and then Arkansas.

Elvia was a devoted mother, wife, grandmothe­r and friend. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, taking care of her grandkids, going to church and being generous to other people. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family and all who knew her.

A Holy rosary is scheduled for Elvia on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. with a visitation following the rosary. A Memorial Mass will be at 12 noon at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Arkansas. In Lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to St. Joseph School Endowment in memory of Elvia Fragstein.
