WILSA MARIE CLEGG-ROBINSON was born on April 1, 1934, in Prattsvill­e, Arkansas, the daughter of Herbert Lee Clegg and Olcie Clegg.

On Friday, July

13, 2018, at the age 84, she passed away in the comfort of her home in

Little Rock, Arkansas.

Wilsa was preceded in death by her aforementi­oned parents and husband. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Arthur Robinson and his wife, Tammy; a granddaugh­ter, Janay Robinson; a grandson, Arthur Robinson, Jr., all of Portland, Oregon; a stepdaught­er, Pat Jackson; three sisters: Mildred Doby of Sheridan, Ark., Millie Williams and Bessie Johnson, both of Little Rock; three bothers: Leonard Clegg of Prattsvill­e, Grover Clegg (Betty) of Portland, Ore., and Morris Clegg of Bryant, Ark.; special friend she considered as a daughter, Sadie McCollum and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wilsa’s visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Brandon’s Mortuary, 329 W. 3rd St., Malvern, Ark. A home going celebratio­n of her life will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Davis Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Forrest Cooper serving as eulogist. Internment will immediatel­y follow at Philadelph­ia Cemetery.

2018.

She was born to the late Stephen and Stella

7, 1921 in Dallas,

Texas, growing up on a small farm at the edge of the SMU Campus. Margaret Anne graduated from Highland Park High School in 1938 and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in English from Southern Methodist University in 1941. She married Capt. Max Clifton Jordan on March 15, 1943 and they lived together in Dallas, Texas for many years before relocating to North Little Rock, Ark. in 2009. Max passed away on June 19, 2013 and awaits Margaret Anne.

Margaret Anne was active in church life at Lovers Lane Methodist Church. She was an active member of Sparkman Club, Brookhaven Country Club, numerous Bridge and Book Clubs, all in Dallas. She was always active in PTA, scouting and the sports activities of her children. She loved to spend time with others, keep track of nieces and nephews and tend to her many aunts and uncles. Margaret Anne enjoyed traveling with Max to a great many places.

Margaret Anne is survived by three children: Susan Eanes (Tommy) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Robert Jordan (Julie) of Mesquite, Texas and Bruce Jordan (Sandy) of Lafayette, Louisiana. She is also survived by six grandchild­ren and three great-grandchild­ren (and one on the way). Margaret Anne outlived her beloved brother, Halcuit Moore and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Moore, Martha Pierce and Evelyn McDonald.

Special thanks to the family of Susan and Tommy Eanes, John and Jill Eanes and Stephen and Liz Eanes and Pam Hairston, Sonya Bailey, and Premiere Health and Rehab of North Little Rock, Baptist Hospice in North little Rock and a host of others who made the final years not necessaril­y pleasant but bearable.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at the gazebo by the Mausoleum at Griffith-Leggett Rest Hill Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Hazel Clark. Waits; cousin Amanda Annear (Allister) and Ella; and Sarah Waits. Susan was preceded in death by her father’s parents, Mason and Irene Waits and her mother’s father, Jack Renfro.

Born in Paragould, Arkansas on April 8, 1984, her family moved to Batesville, Arkansas when she was 7 months old. She graduated from Batesville High School and the University of Arkansas-Fayettevil­le. With great determinat­ion, she moved to New York City and lived there 10 years until in 2016 she moved to Los Angeles, California. Her ability to write about fashion led her to become the fashion director at PureWow, a digital media company that publishes women’s lifestyle content.

Susan had a passion to serve others in mission projects. In high school she was active in the United Methodist mission projects. In college she was involved in the Wesley Foundation where she worked in New Orleans doing clean up following Hurricane Katrina. While living in New York she traveled to the devastated Rockaway Island to serve survivors of Hurricane Sandy.

The family wishes to thank the ICU and the Infusion Center staff at UAMS for their excellent and compassion­ate care during her admission.

–––––❖––––– MATTIE WILDER, 71, of Little Rock, Ark., died Saturday, July 14, 2018 in a Little Rock local hospital. Ms. Wilder was born Nov. 24, 1946 in Foreman, Ark. to the late Aula Watson-Wilder and Matthew Wilder Sr. She attended public school and graduated from Unity High in Foreman in 1965. She continued her education at Philander Smith College in Little Rock. Upon graduation, she worked for UAMS Head Start Program. She also worked at St. Vincent Private Home Health Care. She was a member of Greater Paradise Mission Baptist Church, Little Rock.

Survivors include: one son, Keith Wilder, Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Dorothy Barr, Dayton, Ohio; four nephews; seven nieces; host of family and friends
