MINUTE WITH A DIRECTOR

-

Q. How do you start your day? A. I start my day with a large tea with extra ice — extra ice is very important. I arrive at my office around 8:30 a.m. and answer emails and text messages and start organizing my desk for the day. Q. What is your best workday? A. A day when I know I have done everything to help a family during their time of grief — that I have been a shoulder to lean on, and I have made their experience peaceful and less stressful. My goal is to be someone they can trust and know their loved one is in the very best care. Q. Where would people find you on your days off, and what would you be doing? A. You would find me on a mountain with my husband and twins enjoying nature, or on a road trip to a hole-inthe-wall place for lunch and then wherever the road leads. I have found out in a short time that you can be almost anywhere in Arkansas within 2½ hours. You will not find me at home dusting — I can promise you that. Q. Why I love working for my business: A. I love people. I am very social. I enjoy helping my families during their time of need — answering all questions, planning the proper funeral for their loved one that suits their needs, processing all paperwork and helping file insurance claims. Whatever the need, I strive to be there and make the process as stress-free as possible. Q. What are your company’s best attributes? A. Rosewood Cremation & Funeral is a close, familyowned provider that owns and operates a private crematory, ensuring that the services provided are of the utmost care and professionalism. Richard Neal, owner, personally takes care of each individual with dignity and respect. Q. What is one thing people don’t know about the company you work for? A. We have a sister company, Rosewood Classic Coach, owned and operated by Neal. Luxury custom hearses and limousines are built with a timeless classic design. Nothing turns heads like a classic, and we invite people to experience the Golden Age of 1930s automotive styling and luxury with the purpose of honoring our families.
