It was my childhood dream to be a firefighte­r and police officer. I was blessed enough to get to do both.

Being able to help people in their time of need

Managing nine officers, six dispatcher­s, the department budget and day-to-day crime

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE ATMOSPHERE AT THE GREENBRIER POLICE DEPARTMENT?

Pleasant and family-oriented

WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOUR DEPARTMENT?

The city of Greenbrier was voted the Safest City in Arkansas three years in a row. We also dispatch for a total of four police department­s and Greenbrier’s Fire & Rescue.

WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE FUTURE OF THE DEPARTMENT?

To keep my officers and the citizens of Greenbrier safe as the community grows

WHAT WOULD YOU CONSIDER TO BE GREENBRIER’S HIDDEN GEM?

The citizens. We are a very friendly town where the people come together in any circumstan­ce, making the community great.
