SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Cora Emily Oliver, passed away on August 12, 2018, in Santa Clara, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Oliver, granddaugh­ter, Leah Rovnaghi and brother, Paul Elcan. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Linda Sue Wilkins (Dennis), Cynthia R. Rovnaghi; son, Kevin M. Oliver (Mary); grandchild­ren, James (Olga) Wilkins, Scott Wilkins, Laila Whiting, Jessica Maness, Kael Maness, Mason Oliver; great-grandchild­ren, Santiago and Victoria Olivia Wilkins, Victoria Rovnaghi, Olivia Whiting, Skyler Forsyth and Aidan Amy. Cora was a dual member of Hazen and Florence Chapers of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Santa Clara United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel. CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — Willorene “Willie” Davis Phillips, 88, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center. She was born April 5, 1930, in Harrell, Arkansas, to the late Carl. J. and Annie (Davis) Davis. Willorene and Thomas Phillips were married October 12, 1973, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2016.

Willorene was a member of the First Presbyteri­an Church in Cape and the Cape Country Club. She was a graduate of Harrell High School and Warner Brown School of Nursing in El Dorado, Arkansas. She moved to Cape Girardeau 45 years ago and worked as a nurse anesthetis­t at Saint Francis Hospital.

Survivors include a sister, Betty Stringfell­ow of Little Rock, Arkansas; one niece, four nephews and three step-children; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral service will be Sunday, August 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyteri­an Church with Rev. Ellen Gurnon officiatin­g. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Entombment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pamela Aiello Hobbs, was born February

19, 1980, in Pine

Bluff, Arkansas, and departed this life, August

12, 2018, while stationed at Fort

Lee Virginia.

After graduating high school, Ray attended University of Arkansas, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree. He joined the United States Army and at the time of his passing was an active duty, Sergeant First Class.

On December 29, 2009, he was united in marriage with Dessa Shelby. To this union was born two children, who survive.

Ray is survived by his wife Dessa; one son, Ray David Hobbs, III; and one daughter, Alyssa Rose Hobbs, all of the home; his mother, Pam Hobbs; one brother, Brian Hobbs; mother-in-law, Mae Fohn all of Lebanon, Mo; his Army family; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Celebratio­n of life service for SFC Ray David Hobbs, Jr. will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at 11 a.m., at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel (1001 N. Lynn Lebanon, Mo. 65536) There is no scheduled visitation.

Memorials have been suggested to Ray’s children’s education fund and donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. There is no scheduled burial.
