Tragikly White marks 25 years with Rev Room gig
Tragikly White will mark 25 years of performing with a show at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Rev Room in Little Rock. Admission is free.
Singer-songwriter Rick Martin moved home to Little Rock in 1993 after a stint in Southern California and decided to form a band specializing in the danceable hits of the 1980s. In the quarter-century since his move, Tragikly White has performed more than 2,500 concerts, benefits and special events, sometimes before audiences of up to 10,000 people. Martin’s bandmates are bassist-vocalist Jimmy Tomlinson, guitarist-vocalist Tim Reed and drummer Michael “Smitty” Smith.

Nichols, a Little Rock native, is the lead singer of the Memphis-based roots rock band, Lucero.

Jonah Matranga of Far, along with opening acts The Pauses, I Was Afraid and Headcold, will perform at 8 p.m. today at White Water Tavern in Little Rock. Admission is $12.
Matranga will mark the 20th anniversary of the Far album, Water & Solutions, and will perform the album in its entirety. Opening act The Pauses will also play as Matranga’s band.
