TULSA — Shirley F. Davis, 82, passed away, Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Tulsa, Okla. Shirley was born on March 10, 1936, in Cedar County, Mo., to Raymond T. Routh and Marie M. Rains-Routh. Shirley married Bill Davis on November 27, 1958. They spent most of their years in Sherwood, Ark., and Broken Arrow, Okla. She worked at Arkansas BCBS, retiring after 15 years of service.

Shirley is survived by her husband Bill Davis of Tulsa, Okla.; her daughters Vicki Hinten of Tulsa, Okla., and Tammy Williams and husband Scott of Fort Smith, Ark.; grandchild­ren Rachel Hinten of Salt Lake City, Utah, James Hinten of Tulsa, Okla., Jack and Lilly Williams of Fort Smith, Ark., and extended family and friends.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, at Add’Vantage Funeral Service Chapel located at 9761 E 31st St., Tulsa, Okla. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Meals on Wheels in your community or Season’s Hospice, 6532 E 71st St., Ste 101,Tulsa, Okla. 74133.

Jim Allen was of the Baptist faith. He worked as an insurance agent for Swaffer & Associates. Jim was an avid outdoorsma­n whose obsession was duck hunting. He loved spending hunting season with his many fellow hunters, who are his true brothers. His hunting buddies hold a special place in the hearts of Jim’s family and they are thankful for their friendship for Jim. Jim also enjoyed spending fun times with family and friends hunting, fishing, and watching Nascar races. He had a very loving, giving, and caring heart for others and sought ways to help everyone. Jim was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, and caregiver who will be missed always.

He was preceded in death by his father, Breece A. Young Jr.; and grandparen­ts: Breece and Elsie Young, Edward Pinkerton, and Martha Dulaney. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and caring wife, Meredith Young of Memphis, Tennessee; mother, Lorraine Young of Whispering Pines, North Carolina; mother-in-law, Judy Manspeaker of Memphis, Tennessee; sisters: Lori Swaffer and husband John of Olive Branch, Mississipp­i, and Sheri Sullivan and husband Lloyd of Southern Pines, North Carolina; niece, Hannah Sullivan of Southern Pines, North Carolina; nephews: Alex Shore and wife Natalie of Charlotte, North Carolina, Mason Sullivan and Spencer Sullivan of Southern Pines, North Carolina; child they never had, Robin Denton of Southaven, Mississipp­i; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and loving, caring friends.
