Seventy-eight percent of consumers are not satisfied with the drying results of their current dishwasher, Johnston said. This is the No. 1 complaint with dishwashers outside of cleaning and quietness. GE has a new feature in its polymer-tub dishwashers called Dry Boost, he said. This system utilizes a heating element, a hotter rinse temperature and a fan to achieve 30-percent better drying results. GE has also launched the first polymer-tub dishwasher with a third rack for silverware and Bottle Jet technology designed to clean baby bottles, sippy cups and hard-to-clean pots and pans.
