Silent Auction, Rummage Sale and Blessing of the Animals HEBER SPRINGS — St. Francis Episcopal Church, 20 Woodland Cove Drive, will have its annual Silent Auction and Rummage Sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. both days to benefit the Heber Springs Humane Society. The sale will be inside the church. The church’s annual Blessing of the Animals will be at 10:30 am. Saturday. Bring dogs on leashes, cats in carriers, birds in cages and fish in bowls. Ozarka College Foundation Golf Tournament MELBOURNE — FNBC Bank is the presenting sponsor for the Ozarka College Foundation Golf Tournament, a four-person scramble, set for Saturday at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Ozarka College students. The entry fee is $300 per team and includes range balls, a golf cart, a light breakfast, lunch, a gift bag and 18 holes of golf, with mulligans available for $5 each. The goal of the event is to showcase the city’s unique water features and engage the community and others in a family-oriented activity that acquaints all with the city of Jacksonvil­le. Library Book Sale SEARCY — This is the last week for the White County Public Library Friends Foundation’s book sale in the Searcy Public Library Meeting Room.
